Open Church

As the 40 Days have passed, the Minor Chapel will be open each day, Monday to Saturday, from 10.00 a.m. until 1.00 p.m. for private prayer and meditation.

Two volunteers in addition to carrying out some small administration duties will be available to answer questions regarding our Church or Church activities. They will also be only too pleased guide visitors into the main Sanctuary if requested.

The main purpose behind this ‘Outreach’ is to provide somewhere in Bangor town centre for those wishing to come into the presence of the Lord. The door is open to anyone and everyone – all are invited and very welcome.

A Prayer for the Open Church

Lord God,
I want to meet you,
but so many things get in my way,
I sometimes feel so guilty,
for the things I've done wrong.
I am so sorry.
Sometimes I'm even guilty,
when I did the right thing,
but someone ended up hurt.
I sometimes feel so crushed,
by stresses, wories and pain.
They feel like a wall between you and me,
and I find it hard to meet you.
Forgive me the things I've done wrong.
Heal me and calm my fears.
Jesus reach out and break the walls down,
come and met me now,
and show me how to pray once more.
Amen.

As the Craft Club season has ended, we will be holding a coffee Morning in August. At the Coffee Morning items the club members have made will be on sale for the Halls Fund.

Halls Project

In the church porch you can see the full display board for our Halls Project. This poster is a small part of this display. You are invited to come and view at anytime during the week while the Church office is open.
